The Coaching Gym is on hiatus.

Solutions, movement, truth and flow. And Holiday Support!

2010 Holiday Help Offer

ONE OF THE ONLY WAYS TO WORK WITH ME FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE

The Coaching Gym has been in full swing for a few months and includes a fantastic group of participants (from six countries, no less).

I am opening up 10 spots for the remaining three weeks of The Coaching Gym, to go out with a bang, give more people the opportunity to get simple yet profound, bite-sized coaching, when they need it.  AND the holidays are amongst us… lots of us need extra support with life, relationships, managing expectations and relatives. If this is you, OR if you’d like to get all of the benefits of the last few weeks of The Coaching Gym, check out the information below.

I’m offering a special price for the remaining three weeks of The Coaching Gym: $97 (3 weeks of laser-focused coaching)

This offer is limited to 10 people… and it will likely go quickly.

Once you purchase, I’ll contact you (within 24 hours) to give you the call-in information and this week’s hours so you may start right away.

(I have no idea why this button is so big.  Apologies. But feel free to laugh with me.)

You get full access to me during the Coaching Gym.

These are useful, laser-focused sessions to get down and dirty, right to the heart of the matter.  You get my insight, intuition, ability to reframe situations, emotional intelligence and my genius in difficult conversations and human relationships.

In short, you get me as a partner for your best solutions to frustrations and challenges in personal and professional relationships, struggles and in getting the best out of others and yourself.  A potent combination of empathy-cutting to the heart of the matter, in service of YOU.

It works like this:

  • You can use the Coaching Gym as often as you wish.
  • Coaching Gym sessions are super-focused, incredibly useful and approx. 20 minutes long.
  • You don’t need to book an appointment (unless that’s your preference) – just call, and we’ll start your session, or leave a message and I will get back to you.
  • You are not limited by coaching topic or a set amount of questions. It’s your time, your life.  Anything goes.  I want to help.
  • Email support is also offered as part of the Coaching Gym.
  • Need more coaching?  Simply call back.  Sessions are first-come, first-served.
  • If you’d like for me to review documents, memos, emails, plans, etc… email them to me in advance.
  • Coaching Gym hours are posted in advance of each week.
  • Coaching Gym open hours are based on the number of subscribers.  It will be open a minimum of 8 hours/week.  I will expand hours as needed.
  • The Coaching Gym won’t work for you unless you use it.

The Coaching Gym is open through December 23rd.

Please look into your heart.  If this feels right for you I hope you’ll join me in the Coaching Gym.

Subscriptions

- Monthly subscription to Coaching Gym: $200/month (Does not apply to Holiday Offer, which is $97)

*** If I decide to run the Coaching Gym in 2011, “Charter Members” will be rewarded, with a special subscription rate.

The Coaching Gym is not for:

- Folks who want in-depth processing.  While I believe in looking at many aspects, we will be solutions oriented.  If you want more of that in-depth approach, let’s chat about my 1:1 or partnership coaching, as that may be a better fit for you.

- Folks who need a deep level of mental health support.  If this is you, or you have an inkling it could be you, I humbly recommend speaking with a therapist, psychologist or the appropriate support provider as soon as possible.  If you’re not sure where to start, please speak to your physician.  You can feel better.  Trust me, I know.

Logistics, policies and requests:

By subscribing and joining the Coaching Gym I trust that you have read and have and understand the following. If you have any questions, please ask.  I don’t pull any punches, but like to make sure we’re on the same page.

- You may cancel your subscription to the Coaching Gym at any time.  Please give two-weeks’ notice to avoid being billed for the following month.

- Subscriptions and payments to the Coaching Gym are non-refundable.

- “Paid-in-Full” subscriptions are transferable.  This means that if you decide to discontinue use of the Coaching Gym, you can find someone to take your place.

- I will post hours for the Coaching Gym one week in advance.  If for some reason (i.e. an emergency) I am unable to make that I will either open up additional hours, or, if something happens to me, will make arrangements for another coach to be a guest coach that day.  I don’t foresee (or desire) this but, it’s good to have a plan!

- I’m offering ‘unlimited’ coaching and email support.  This means unlimited phone coaching during the Coaching Gym, unless other arrangements have been made.  ’Unlimited’ email support us defined as “within reason”.  Now that can mean different things to different people.  My commitment is that if I feel things are going ‘beyond reason’, I will contact you to discuss  it and your expectations.  I don’t anticipate this.  I want to help.  But again, it’s good to have a plan.

- All Coaching Gym Subscribers will be given a call-in number for use during the Coaching Gym.  You will receive a welcome letter as we approach the start date.

- I’m a pretty straight-shooter.  My request is that if you have any questions, if something doesn’t make sense, or the like, that you ask.  We’ll get it figured out.

    Hi Randi,
I would love a full scholarship because I have recently had it emphasized to me how much having someone like minded to talk to helps me get my ideas gelled into plans which I can and will move on. Its also extremely helpful to have someone else take a look at things you are working on because we often get blind to things our friends, family and mentors will notice right off.

I believe the Coaching Gym will help me because I will have someone to discuss my ideas and plans with who has no interest in the out come (well, not as much as myself or a friend might have) who can be impartial. I've also been told you are a straight shooter and not about all the woo-woo stuff that just doesn't jive with getting things done. I know a bit of the theory…I need to get action plans going. While I realize you won't do the planning FOR me, I think having you look at my plans and projects in order to give pointers that you know work in the real world will give me a much better chance of success.

The biggest thing I like about this coaching plan is that you don't do it for me. You are just there to give advice and nudges when I know I need them. I also like the e-mail support part very much. I hope to win the full scholarship as the partial won't help me (this is my way of saying I can't afford to pay for anything of this magnitude so PLEASE don't waste the partial on me ;) ). Either way, I know you will pick very deserving people who will benefit greatly from being a part of this project. Thanks for the opportunity you are offering. Best of luck to all who enter!

Randi, I *love* this idea. Gurl is absolutely right, working alone at almost anything is like working in a vacuum – not much gets out. It's true I don't have the financial means to do this right now, no, not even the partial, and it's true that I think I could gain a lot from it. I've already figured out that I need interaction to form good ideas, need more interaction to create solid action plans, and I need accountability to get them all done. I believe that your coaching gym would help with all of those things.

Here's the thing. I've already seen that Gurl is looking for the scholarship, and I have to say she's a generous, helpful, kind soul, and she deserves it. I don't know what the situation is like in her part of the world, but I know in my town it won't be long before I'm doing something that brings some cash in, and things will turn around for my husband too. I'm pretty sure that next year, or maybe it will be the year after, it will be a beautiful and easy decision to spend available cash on this. And so I'm really hoping that you'll do it again then.

In the meantime, the cheering will continue. I'm glad to have found you.

    Hugs and butterflies,
    ~Teresa~

I'd feel a little guilty winning from you again, but… I WANT IT SO BADLY!

You shifted things for me – opened up some truths I didn't know I needed to learn. Taught me to trust some wisdom I didn't know I had. You helped me on the journey that eventually led to me resigning from my job and looking forward to launching a new business.

But… now that I'm on the verge of that business, I find myself with so many unanswered questions. What should be the thread running through the work that I do? How should I articulate the gift that I bring to those who want to work with me? What boundaries should I establish? The list goes on and on.

As you can see, I would greatly value from some deep conversations with someone with as much wisdom and ability to see clarity where there is muddiness as you have. And yet, the cost – while I've got to worry about feeding three daughters and a husband who's only partially employed and has worked through some significant mental health issues lately – is a little steep for me right now. (That's not to sayit's not worth what you're charging – just that I have to balance the things I need to spend money on.)

(But – hey – I can understand if you wouldn't want to give a freebie to the same person twice in a row.)

I've discovered you a few days ago through a tweet of yours (unrelated to the Coaching Gym) that a friend had retweeted which resonated with me, so I had to come over and learn more about you and what you do.
I've been an entrepreneur for a few years now, but what I was doing until now mostly involved helping someone else achieving his dreams. Now, I feel called to make my own dreams come true, and that means my business will change radically. It's both really exciting and scary, of course. I've slowly been inching my way towards that new thing for the past several months, and have started moving forward at a slightly more significant pace lately. I'd like to keep up that pace and see results in the real world sometime soon – I really want to get this out into the world as soon as possible so that those who need it can benefit from it.
The thing is, I need help and support as I move forward, but asking for help is difficult for me and I tend to give in to my tendency to try to do everything by myself. Of course, that slows me down and ends up being discouraging. I have a feeling that the Coaching Gym would help me practice asking for and receiving the help and support I need, which would serve me for the rest of my life – not to mention that it would help me bring to life those ideas I have for my business that are just swirling in my mind right now.
Another way in which the Coaching Gym would be helpful to me? I tend to overthink things, so my projects and I would benefit a lot from a cut-to-the-chase and solutions-oriented approach. :)
I would really appreciate a scholarship as my business has never covered my living expenses (I kept doing it because that's where my heart is), my savings are now almost depleted, and this new direction I'm taking involves quite a bit of upfront investment. Though the Coaching Gym would be a worthy investment in me and my business, the financial help you're offering here is what would make it a possibility. Thank you for offering this opportunity!

Randi, I've got to tell you, I'm drawn to you by the intensity in your eyes. Are you related to the Sirens of myth?

    Here is my no-frills plea:

I need someone with a good eye and sharp mind to help me grow my business.
I need a tender heart to give tough love.
I need cheers from other dears.
I want to be the Empress of (at least) my Universe.
I want to be a worthy, wise leader.
I want results yesterday. I'm willing to do the work now.
I want to be an asset to the planet, doing my soul's work: energy healing.
I've paid it forward in so many ways, globally…. Since you're offering free coaching, I'm hoping to cash in my accumulated good karma at this tricky time.

May the twinkle of every star illuminate your spirit.

My life is at a crossroads. I am moving from doing virtual customer service and VA work to becoming a self-supporting freelance writer. In the process, I have taken up running. While I find the goal setting and scheduling of training to be refreshing with my running, I find I have some difficulties putting the same processes into work in my professional and personal life. Your format and your ideas on coaching seem so real and I do believe that you will be extremely successful in the Coaching Gym!

    Randi,
You have an uncanny ability to see through the haze and literally cut to the chase to I do not have to continually chase my ghosts.
I have so many important life saving things on my plate that I would like to be graced by your skills to clear my path so I can serve at a higher better level.
Your coaching is about as good as it gets, so clearly I would LOVE to win some session.

Randi – Firstly, what a generous offer – thanks much for the opportunity. So, here is my story. I was diagnosed with cancer back in 2001 and although I am cured I am not yet healed and struggle daily with chronic illness. While I did not know at the time these very challenges were the fertile ground that gave birth to my creativity. And, after a friend loaned me a camera, photography quickly became my medium of choice. The work was produced with very limited resources; financial, health, energy, equipment, supplies & know-how. These rigid constraints often felt claustrophobic, yet, paradoxically, the work flowed as did opportunities to exhibit. At this point however, the combination of being an artist and living with a disability that requires me to rest more often than I would like, leaves me rather isolated. And I do not do so well with this being that I am “isolated extrovert” (my new phrase ) I am very motivated to take my fine art career to the next level yet cannot seem to get there without the necessary support, empathy, encouragement, accountability and focus to mitigate the often undermining nature of the isolation – such as frustration, mixed in with fear and sometimes a touch of despair. The limited financial resources have prevented me from accessing such help & guidance. Well, a new day has dawned and perhaps, this is where you come in?! I have passion and much inspiration and insistence that there must be a way through this. I would be so incredibly grateful for the opportunity and seize it fully. Randi, Please excuse my typo… LOL I'm the typo queen. ~ Enjoy, Barbara

    Here is the corrected comment:
You have an uncanny ability to see through the haze and literally cut to the chase so I do not have to continually chase my ghosts.
I have so many important life saving things on my plate that I would like to be graced by your skills to clear my path so I can serve at a higher better level.

I need someone to challenge me, to focus on solutions with me, and to help me get a running start in changing my life. I’ve set myself a deadline of January 1, 2011 to poop or get off the pot. I want to start my own business in either counseling or life coaching, because it’s hard to follow my bliss when no one wants to give me a chance. So it’s time to make my own chances. I’m not expecting to be completely up and running by January 1, but I need to see if this is going to work or not.

I have the desire, I have the dream, I just need to get to the heart of the matter and do it. I’m another one of those who wouldn’t be able to use a partial scholarship as I have only been able to find part-time employment and my partner is on disability right now, but if you could find it in your heart to give me a chance, I’d give it all I can.

    Randi,

I support now, or have in the past, many coaches and online entrepreneurs. I love this work. I have a blog that is gradually getting noticed. When I meet people they generally say I inspire them (recently I was a MASTERMIND in all caps!). I have these various skills and I'm having a hard time pointing them in the right direction. I went back to a “real job” this spring when my online manager biz (aka VA) starting faltering a bit and I simply couldn't support myself from it anymore. I've been truly lost ever since. As my Twitter profile used to say “not cube material”.

I adore you, think we have a similar spirit, and would love to participate in the GYM! Wow. How cool would that be? Unfortunately income already low, student loan debt very high, and adult son just moved back in. Financially, it is true, the time just isn't right. Emotionally and spiritually it is a perfect time.

We have a similar groove. I respect you immensely. I'd love to partake. Please consider me.
